The Pittson Family Trio, based in New York, brings together three accomplished performers who are continually pushing the boundaries of their instrument, and exploring eclectic musical colors. Vocalist Suzanne Pittson is widely recognized as an improvising musician, and for her groundbreaking albums of the music of John Coltrane and Freddie Hubbard. Jeff Pittson is a creative force on piano, keyboards, synthesizers and as a composer, performing with such artists as Mike Clark, Paul Jackson, Maynard Ferguson, Ruth Brown, Larry Coryell and many others. Evan Pittson presents a modern direction for the post-Coltrane language on the electric viola.
