Amanda Keil, soprano and ukulele

Your friendly neighborhood opera singer, Amanda Keil is a soprano, educator, and
multi-instrumentalist. As performer and teacher, she works to make all kinds of music accessible and participatory. From 2008-2016 she founded and ran the acclaimed Baroque opera company Musica Nuova, producing acclaimed early music song programs with staging, movement, and storytelling. Amanda Keil has performed medieval music with Boston Camerata, contemporary music with Guerilla Opera, operatic mainstays with DiCapo Opera Theatre, and Baroque opera with New York Continuo Collective. As a horn player Amanda has performed with the Litha Symphony Orchestra and the Jackson Heights Orchestra. She holds a masters degree in teaching from Lehman College, another masters in voice and historical performance from Boston University and a bachelors degree in French horn performance from The Hartt School.
