Kenn Rowell is a veteran singer-songwriter who has performed as a solo artist and as the front-person for the NYC-based post-Ramones, old-school punk, indie band, The Baghdaddios. He has appeared in several U.S. States and Countries, having toured the U.S., UK and Canada. Having released several full albums, EPs and singles, both online and via CD, in addition to several music videos, Kenn has found extensive exposure on U.S. and international radio and television, appearing on both national TV and radio in this country and abroad. An annual fixture at the New York City Marathon, his band also hosts a yearly international Benefit that Rowell founded for New York’s homeless, called Blank-Fest. Kenn has also made contributions within the rock journalism world, having covered past South By Southwest (SXSW) music festivals for the preeminent punk rock newspaper in NYC, The New York Waste. Last Spring, he and his wife, international bilingual poet, Ms. Yvonne Sotomayor, were part of a star-studded Interthon event which raised over $110,000.00 for People To People (P2P), again, to help the homeless. In fact, Kenn and Yvonne have been part of several charitable causes and fundraisers over many years – too many to list here!
